Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for refunds on the Jobnobs platform. We strive to ensure fair treatment for both students and employers while maintaining the integrity of our marketplace.
2. For Employers (Task Posters)
Eligible for Refund:
- Student did not show up for the assigned task
- Work was significantly different from what was agreed
- Task was cancelled before a student was assigned
- Technical issues prevented task completion
Not Eligible for Refund:
- Task was completed as described
- Employer cancelled after student started work
- Subjective dissatisfaction with quality (unless clearly below standards)
- Change of mind after posting
3. For Students
Payment Protection:
- Students are paid for completed work approved by employers
- If an employer doesn't respond within 48 hours, payment is auto-released
- Disputed payments are held until resolution
Course Refunds:
- Premium courses may be refunded within 7 days if less than 20% completed
- Free courses are not eligible for refunds
- Certificates earned are non-refundable
4. Refund Process
Step 1: Submit a refund request through the app within 7 days of the transaction.
Step 2: Provide details about why you're requesting a refund, including any evidence (photos, messages, etc.).
Step 3: Our team will review the request within 3-5 business days.
Step 4: If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
5. Dispute Resolution
If there's a disagreement between student and employer:
- Both parties can submit their version of events
- Our support team will mediate the dispute
- Evidence (messages, photos, location data) will be reviewed
- A decision will be made within 7 business days
- The decision is final but can be appealed once
6. Service Fees
Regarding platform service fees:
- Service fees are non-refundable for completed transactions
- Full refund includes service fee only if cancelled before work begins
- Partial refunds may not include the full service fee
7. Refund Timeframes
Processing times for approved refunds:
- UPI: 1-3 business days
- Debit/Credit Card: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 5-10 business days
- Wallet Balance: Instant
Note: Bank processing times may vary and are outside our control.
8. Fraud Prevention
To maintain platform integrity:
- Repeated refund requests may trigger account review
- Fraudulent claims will result in account suspension
- False disputes may lead to permanent ban
- We reserve the right to deny refunds for suspicious activity
9. Special Circumstances
We may make exceptions for:
- Medical emergencies (with documentation)
- Natural disasters or unforeseen events
- Technical failures on our platform
- First-time users with legitimate concerns
